We’re excited to share that the next phase of construction is about to begin! As part of our ongoing commitment to the community, we’ll be starting a range of transport and utilities upgrades.

Starting Monday 3rd February, our team will begin roadworks on Buckley Road. The works will take place in six stages and are expected to continue until the Centre opens later this year.

Once complete, the transport and utilities upgrades will include:

👉 Additional traffic lanes along Buckley Road, including a “U-turn” facility.

👉 Upgraded intersection for access to The Hub Shopping Centre.

👉 Fully signalised intersection on Buckley Road for access into our Centre.

👉 New intersection on Uhlmann Road for access into our Centre.

👉 New bus stops on Buckley Road.

👉 Removal of overhead power and streetlight cables on Buckley and Uhlmann Road.

👉 Installation of new underground conduits and cabling for power and street lighting.

👉 Upgraded street lighting.

👉 Sewer infrastructure to service our Centre and future connections east of the Centre along Uhlmann Road.

👉 Upgraded water main reticulation on Buckley and Uhlmann Road.

These improvements are fully funded within the Lancini Property Group project budget for the construction of Burpengary East and will be delivered in accordance with the Moreton Bay Regional Council’s development and operational works approvals.

Whilst the roadworks may cause some short-term inconvenience, the long-term benefits of these traffic and utilities upgrades will support not only shoppers of our Centre, but the wider community as well.

We truly appreciate and thank you for your patience and understanding as these works are completed, and we look forward to delivering them as part of the Burpengary East Shopping Centre development.

Be sure to stay connected with us on our socials, website, and e-newsletter for the latest construction updates and any important roadwork changes throughout this period.

Thank you for your continued support!
