Road Works Notification – Buckley Rd

To our Burpengary East community,

As many of you know, Buckley Road has recently undergone changes to accommodate the construction of our new shopping centre. To return the road to its normal condition, we’ll be carrying out road resurfacing works over the coming nights – this includes applying a protective base layer (called primer) and a fresh layer of asphalt to the section of road that’s currently unsealed.

Due to the complexity of the job and the high volume of traffic Buckley Road sees during the day, these works have been approved by Council to take place overnight to minimise disruption for residents and commuters. Traffic controllers and police will be onsite to manage vehicle and pedestrian safety, and we’ll do our very best to keep noise to a minimum.

These works will only affect the road and nearby driveways for short periods but are a necessary part of the process. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to our team.
