Hot Cross Bun ‘Spend to Receive’ Campaign

Promoter

The promoter of this campaign is Burpengary East Shopping Centre Pty Ltd (ABN 78 165 102 330) located at 137 Uhlmann Road, Burpengary East, QLD 4505 (Promoter).

Promotion Period

The promotion will run from 11am - 2pm on Saturday 4 April 2026 (“Promotion Period”).

Redemptions submitted outside this period will not be accepted. The promotion may end earlier if all stock is exhausted.

Eligibility

The promotion is open to all customers of Burpengary East Shopping Centre.

Customers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to participate.

Employees, contractors, and tenants of Burpengary East Shopping Centre and their immediate family members may participate but must comply with all Terms and Conditions.

The Promoter reserves the right to deem any participant ineligible where these conditions are not met.

Offer Details

Eligible participants will receive one (1) free 6-pack of Hot Cross Buns, supplied by SG Bakery.

Customers may choose between traditional or chocolate varieties, subject to availability. The Promoter does not guarantee the availability of any specific product type.

Participants acknowledge that products may contain allergens including, but not limited to, gluten, dairy, eggs, soy, and traces of nuts.

The Promoter makes no guarantees regarding allergen-free products, and all items are accepted and consumed at the participant’s own risk.

Entry Mechanics

To participate in the promotion, customers must, during the Promotion Period:

• SPEND $10 or more in a single transaction at any participating Burpengary East Shopping Centre retailer;

• COLLECT the original receipt from the qualifying purchase; and

• PRESENT the receipt to promotional staff at the designated redemption location within Burpengary East Shopping Centre.

Upon verification, eligible participants will receive one (1) Hot Cross Bun 6-pack, subject to availability.

Entry Requirements

Receipts must be original, legible, and clearly show the purchase amount, retailer, and date of transaction.

Only receipts dated within the Promotion Period will be accepted.

Only one redemption is permitted per qualifying transaction. A maximum of one (1) redemption per family applies.

Receipts cannot be reused, altered, or combined with other transactions.

Any receipts deemed fraudulent, tampered with, or invalid will be rejected.

Redemption & Availability

A total of 150 Hot Cross Bun packs are available for the duration of the promotion.

Redemptions will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis while stocks last.

No holds, substitutions, or rain checks will be provided.

Once stock is exhausted, the promotion will conclude.

General Conditions

This promotion is delivered by Larf Productions (ABN 92 139 855 600) on behalf of the Promoter.

Burpengary East Shopping Centre is located at 137 Uhlmann Road, Burpengary East QLD 4505.

Burpengary East Shopping Centre reserves the right to verify the validity of receipts and to disqualify any participant who tampers with the redemption process or breaches these Terms & Conditions.

Redemptions must be made at the time of purchase during the Promotion Period. No retrospective claims will be accepted.

The Promoter and its contractor, Larf Productions, accept no responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged products once they have been distributed.

To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter excludes all liability for any loss, damage, or injury suffered in connection with participation in the promotion or consumption of the products, except where liability cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

By participating in the promotion, attendees (and their parent or guardian) consent to being photographed or filmed during the event. The Promoter may use such content for promotional and marketing purposes without compensation, unless otherwise advised at the time of the event.

The Promoter reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the promotion if unforeseen circumstances arise, including but not limited to adverse weather conditions, technical issues, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.

Privacy

Personal information may be collected as part of participating in this promotion, including for purposes such as redemption verification, attendance tracking, safety, or administration.

Participation in some activations may not require the collection of personal information; however, where information is provided, it must be accurate and complete.

Any personal information collected will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and will only be used for the purposes of administering the promotion, including contacting participants where required.

Personal information will not be used for marketing purposes without the participant’s prior consent (or, where applicable, the consent of a parent or legal guardian).

The Promoter may disclose personal information to third-party contractors or service providers (such as event suppliers) strictly for the purpose of facilitating the promotion.

The Promoter will not share personal information with unrelated third parties unless required or authorised by law.

The Promoter may collect and use non-identifiable, aggregated data for internal reporting, analysis, and evaluation of the workshop.

Participants (or their parent/guardian) consent to the collection and use of their personal information as outlined in these Terms and Conditions.
